We strongly encourage messy play throughout both of our nurseries. Both settings have messy play activities inside and outside, these are a mixture of permanent activities like our Mud Kitchens, and planned themed activities which vary regularly.

Mud Kitchens

The children go outside to play atleast twice a day and love to play with their friends in the Mud kitchens and absolutely love it. All children go out to play in full overalls and wellies, so please do not worry about clothes getting ruined! Our mud kitchens help with, to name a few:

- Social develpment

- Imagination

- Creativity

- Fine and Gross motor skills

- Sensory development

Other forms of Messy Play

We have a creative room in each unit, and strongly encourage messy play in the creative rooms doing activities both inside and outside. Again, we have full body aprons so all clothes are protected. Alongside getting creative and messy with paint, glue and glitter we emjoy other Messy Play activities, such as:

- Water Trays

- Playing with Jelly

- Playing with Shaving Foam

- Painting on Foil

- Playing with sand and moon sand

- Making and playing with Gloop

What our parents say...

"If you take you, as mum, on your best days, add tons of other great qualities then you'll come close to what these ladies offer our kids. They've helped shape my children into what they are today and I will be forever grateful for their patience, love and dedication to their jobs." - Please see Facebook for many more.
