At The Pines we believe strongly in children learning whilst they play, both inside and outside. We encourage activities such as messy play, loose part play, our mud kitchen and other creative activities.
These are crucial to childhood development as they help with your childrens:
- Motor skills.
- Communication and language.
- Personal, Social and Emotional development.
- Expressive art and design.
All our nursery units here at The Pines take part in age appropriate physical literacy in both our outdoor and indoor areas. These activities also encourage children to listen and follow instructions, work independently and alongside their peers.
Each of our units are divided in to four main rooms; Creative, Play, Quiet and Snack/Dining Area. Playtime is free-flow at The Pines and we encourage children to make their own choices about where they want to play, and learn whilst they do so.
