At The Pines we believe strongly in children learning whilst they play, both inside and outside. We strongly encourage activities such as messy play, loose part play, our mud kitchen and other creative activities.

These are crucial to childhood development as they help with your childrens:

- Motor skills.

- Communication and language.

- Personal, Social and Emotional development.

- Expressive art and design.

On Wednesdays, Fiona comes in to Nursery to do Yoga. On Mondays and Tuesdays, Ewan comes in to do mini sports and games. These activities also encourage children to listen and follow instructions, and work independently and as part of a team.

Each of our units are divided in to four main rooms; Creative, Play, Quiet and Snack/Dining Area. Playtime is free-flow at The Pines and we encourage children to make their own decisions about where they want to play, and learn whilst they do so.

What our parents say...

"If you take you, as mum, on your best days, add tons of other great qualities then you'll come close to what these ladies offer our kids. They've helped shape my children into what they are today and I will be forever grateful for their patience, love and dedication to their jobs." - Please see Facebook for many more.
